Bio
Hello, my name is David Nila. I am a 20 year resident of Colorado having moved here from Thousand Oaks, California in 2006. After the company I was working for merged with another, our Staff V.P. asked if anyone had interest in transferring to Denver I raised my hand and made the move. At the time I was single with no kids but am now married to my beautiful wife Cathy and father to Lorenza, age 10, and Santino, age 7.
After being laid off for the second time in January of 2025 and not wanting to return to corporate, I decided to put my 27 years of health insurance knowledge to work and became a self-employed health insurance broker focusing on Medicare. It was a scary transition and a huge leap of faith but the rewards are fantastic. I am able to focus on growing my business while enjoying the role of fatherhood.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate Medicare and retirement healthcare options. I work with clients to simplify the Medicare process, educate them on their choices, and help them find coverage that fits their needs and budget. I’m passionate about building relationships, serving as a trusted local resource, and making a complicated process easier to understand. Outside of work, I enjoy networking, volunteering, meeting new people, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
When I am not focusing on growing my business I enjoy spending time with my family and riding my mountain bike.
